Recommended by Prof Gavin Giovannoni (in relation to people with MS & carers). It sounds useful across the board. As a carer for 10 years in mum’s home & remaining responsible for her now, the realities are hard. I always preferred straight & irreverent talking

So fatigued today

All petrol has drained from my tank

I’m fortunate in that I have fatigue in bursts & then it lifts again

My brain’s got more tabs open than a conspiracy theorist’s browser, and at least five are frozen. Started a blog post… forgot it existed. Twice. Mental misfires are the best #MSBrainFog #MSLife #WhoNeedsMemory

For others dealing with Multiple Sclerosis, because they or someone they know has been diagnosed with this crazy condition, I’ve created this custom feed for us.

Pin 📌 it to your home to see what the #MS community is talking about. Use #mslife to contribute.

Just spent 50 minutes with cold feet listening to the dinging, whirring and banging of the MRI machine #MSLife

T’ai chi in 30°. We were standing in shade.

Managed it, huzzah! Time was I couldn’t have stood up in it but since Lemtrada, I seem to cope better

Morning from the UK. Mercifully cooler today. I loathe the heat - it sets off eyelid spasms & chin muscle fasciculations (a feeling I hate)

I feel like I start resembling a tearful Popeye 😏

Have a good day

Last MRI (November) is “stable”

That’s good news

Less good is that they are going to start rationing MRIs for those with stable disease. I expect I will be offered one every 2 years

I understand the finances, but “stable” can change very quickly

If my immune system put as much effort into protecting me as it does into ruining my life, I’d probably be a superhero by now.

Tripping on the kerb into the grassy park is much better than tripping on the kerb into the footpath. Just saying #MSLife

There’d be an outcry if this was happening in other medical fields eg cancer

New homemade pants. Yes, it is spools of thread. Fabric from Treelotta. The shirt was purchased, but it's cute.

How’s things, MSers?

Very much taking precautions to avoid the flu bug that’s sweeping along here. Especially when the schools break up next week. Would be the last thing I need 😬
