On #ThisDayInHistory in 1956, Swedish #OceanLiner #MSStockholm t-boned the Italian liner #AndreaDoria, causing her to roll onto her side and sink, killing 51 people. Most were rescued by numerous passing ships, including the famed #ÎleDeFrance. The Doria was only three years old.
