Dumb question - how do MWhs of gas work? Is it a direct thermal conversion or "enough gas to produce 1 MWh of electricity in an average turbine" or something else entirely? No matter which way we're definitely spoiled in Alberta.

The eye of Super Typhoon Champi appears to be exhibiting a more pronounced trochoidal wobble lately. It is also showing some signs of instability. This suggests that Champi could finally be getting into the meat of an ERC. A 1215Z MWHS 89 Ghz image also supports this notion.

i had a dream someone made a 4 page comic about a character (shes trans, unrelated to MWHS) ruminating about hope (her friend) getting vaginoplasty and having different emotions about it. envy, longing, wishing her friends didnt do things she couldnt ever afford to do. it was emotional. it moved me

While more demand spreads costs of grid over more MWhs & is a good thing, locationally this DC isn't great. Grid limitations drives upgrade costs & given the local mix higher CO2 -v- say a Sco location that would absorb curtailment & be cleaner/cheaper for consumers.
