So weird idea. Is it possible to hook something like a BBS up to LORA stuff and getting access to it over something like Meshtastic? Because MysticBBS + Meshtastic sounds kind of amazing...

I'm working to set up a #mysticBBS myself! It's been decades since I was a sysop.. just tinkering with Mystic brings back memories.

I've actually ran MysticBBS on DOS somewhere in ... boh.. must've been 1997, 1998 somewhere, to try it out. I used to have a RemoteAccess based BBS for a long time back in the day. You got me feeling all sorts of nostalgic now :D

I'm hoping to have it online and stuff soon, really in the early stages here, but I know I want something not stock as far as splash art and menus and stuff. I'm planning to work with MysticBBS at the moment and see where things go from there.

I'm not sure of the full details of the work yet. I'm just kind of getting things off of the ground and set up. The only real ideas I have are something of a base for a color palette and that I'm planning on trying to use MysticBBS as the base platform, if that helps?

Yeah #MysticBBS is great, and highly customizable with an active community! You can mod it into whatever you want it to be! My server is mod heavy. It can be as complicated or as simple as you want. Would be great for a #ZINE. If you decide to check it out and have any questions feel free to ask/DM!
