One early morning on #MackayStreet in #Montreal #StreetPhotography #Sunrise #EarthSky #Cityscape
Mackay street in Montreal one early morning. The city was just waking, some early birds were out probably commuting to their workplaces. The sky was tinged red and yellow. The Sun’s light reflected off building windows. There were street and traffic lights in different colours, red green and white also lending light to the scene.

Someone got creative panhandling on #MackayStreet #StreetPhotography #UrbanGaze #TheHaveNots #Montreal from the archives, not recent. Then again homelessness isn’t something recent.
An open cardboard box sits as a backdrop. In front of it is a hamburger fast food container. There is a caption on the unfurled cardboard that reads “starting a coin collection”.

A green fire hydrant on Mackay street. The words open and ouvert as well as directional arrows on the top. My running shoed feet on either side if it.

This little old lady was using a walker to go about and fell. Paramedics arrived and took her to a hospital.

One morning a while back on #MackayStreet in #Montreal a school bus stop on a very slippery morning. #StreetPhotography #Cityscape #Journalism
A school bus is picking up children one morning on Mackay street. It was late winter and the rain turned to freezing rain and ice covered the streets and sidewalks of the city. The streetlights and headlights painted the street and sidewalk. There is a police car further up the street. It was a treacherous morning to commute. Rain can be seen falling on the orange school bus, it has a damaged bumper.
