A photo of the face of an adult Antlion, a brown insect that looks somewhat dragonfly-like. Its antennae are slender and curl downwards slightly towards the ends. The head is wide with large glossy brown eyes on either side. The legs are slender , tan with brown bands and tipped with twin claws. The wings which are held upright are just out of focus. A photo of the insect from the side. it's body is slender and long, the smallish head at the left with the glossy mottled black and brown eyes and the delicate curved antennae, the long clear iridescent wings are held upright from the brown and tan thorax. The long abdomen, which widens slightly towards the end, is brown with tan stripes.
