There was a lot of fun with this comparison with @penderyn.distillery with their core Madeira finish against their Icons No.9 called The Headliner.
The Madiera finish is soft and approachable; vanilla, honey, tropical fruits, but The Headliner wins this one for me.

If you ever find yourself in Funchal in Madiera look for the very posh Sardine shop on the main thoroughfare. They have hundreds of different types of tinned sardines - some of them really quite expensive, but quite delicious. Sardine tourism should be a thing

Visited St.Johns Pass near Madiera Beach FL (prime MAGA land) and they have replaced a lot of trump logos with "Gulf of America", etc. Of course I got myself a Gulf of Mexico shirt to wear shopping. My new uniform.
