There's a cove on the Magothy that is extremely rich in menhaden, osprey, and a bald eagle couple, which is great! But sadly not the norm.

You guys!!! I knew there were green herons in the Chesapeake during the summer but I've never seen one on the Magothy until today!! Hopefully the photos come out (good camera, not phone camera, so I'll have to download them to the laptop to know for sure)
