#mailcall, I was very curious when I saw a post for this Tron Identity Disc on Reddit and I ordered one from Etsy. It’s printed and vapor smoothed so there is no paint on it. It is also quite smooth but the process leaves visible lines under the surface.

#mailcall, from the brief amazing time where NECA was tackling scifi vehicles nobody else was, the 6” Blade Runner 2049 Spinner diecast.
Neca’s cinemachines line was very short lived but we got some great entries. Among the best are the Terminator HKs and the Predator 2 ship. This Peugeot as well

#mailcall, Fanhome’s latest and greatest model, the USS Athena from Starfleet Academy.
Really glad they made this even with SFA being short lived.
It’s a large ship and they squeezed what details they could into the mold. No clear plastic sadly & dependent on the stand so not very swooshable.

#mailcall, I’ve been seeing other people post about it too and I am pretty disappointed about the finish on these light up ZPMs.
They were 90% there and then just decided to give up on the tops. They’re completely unfinished.
Everything looks pretty good but you can also see where they stopped

Token Ring cards sometimes turn up in Youtube mailcall videos and lead to confusion. I used to work in a Token Ring shop, so I'll try to clear up the confusion. dfarq.homeip.net/what-was-a-t... #retrocomputing #vintagecomputing
What was a Token Ring network?
Token Ring and ARCNET once competed with Ethernet as networking standards
