With the CAA special interest group on Scientific Scripting Languages in Archaeology, we are hosting a joint #DigitalArchaeology #maintainathon! We will spend part of the week cleaning, documenting and revising our old code. Through our Mastodon instance we will post ideas and tips all week long!
Maintainers and institutions working on the challenges of maintaining critical digital systems together. That's the Maintainathon at UN Open Source Week, now in its second year. Jaime Rodríguez-Guerra is part of the delegation, and it’s so good to see these conversations happening at this level.

Maintainers and institutions working on the challenges of maintaining critical digital systems together. That's the Maintainathon at UN Open Source Week, now in its second year. Jaime Rodríguez-Guerra is part of the delegation, and it’s so good to see these conversations happening at this level.
The second #Maintainathon at #UNOpenSourceWeek brought together more than 100 participants across two tracks and 15 sessions: maintainers, governments, NGOs, researchers, OSPOs, and open source communities speaking openly about what it actually takes to sustain critical digital infrastructure.
