The loser will get his name changed to Malerion and if that's a spoiler to you you already are in too deep.

saw someon on the Age of Sigmar lore subreddit propose trans Malerion and ngl I think they were cooking with that
also given GW changed the name to avoid copyright, it would be the best way to get Warhammer Fantasy players to stop using Malekith as well

Malerion aka Malekith in the Old World is the leader of the only missing major faction in Age of Sigmar. His Umbraneth/Ulgurothi have been rumored for over 10 years but never released at this point (only his mother Morathi and her faction the Daughters of Khaine made it so far).

Also check out where the general decadent Dark Elf archtype comes from, Maliketh Malerion whats his name now is drawing from 18c William Beckford's Vathek about decadent Oriental lord having daemon harem parties. Voltaire on efette fallen East Rome Byzantium also a big part.

Vathek is largely where Warhammer Fantasy's Morathi and Malekith evil mother and son ushering in demon worship comes from, the titular Vathek is a Muslim prince who's pagan Greek mother introduces him to Satan.

because I am sympathetic somewhat to the constrains of "we have to sell miniatures for a wargame" thing GW has which I am free of but that freedom does empower me to make better cooler choices and not leave Malerion on the back burner for four editions and counting.

Realization that with the release of the Zharrdron we are getting down to having nearly all the things we know of existing in AoS but had yet to be revealed having models and such.
All except 1.

A new hero for the Daughters of Khaine! Okay! I couldn’t have been anymore wrong about my prediction if I tried, can’t wait to see her rules and she looks like a challenge to paint… One day he will return, Malerion will have his day!

Much like how 3rd edition was meant to make the Beastmen lead by Kragnos a big deal and they scrapped it im pretty sure there was stuff planned for malerion in late 2nd but it was scrapped for lumineth because the idoneth didnt appeal to high elf players.

I hope for a second wave of CoS minis with the removal of the Old World minis. New Flagellants, new cogfort, new hero priest, new mages etc and do some other races units just for the CoS (aelves and duardin).
Oh and may be finally see Malerion

Reveal show coming up over on Twitch, wondering what we'll see, hopefully some actual shots of the Emperor's Children. Anything new for Orks would be great and hopefully something finally to do with the Dark Elves in AoS who follow Malerion.

Over the years post game, Imara begins to remember her life under Bhaal & everything she did. This means she finally remembers her early years with Imriel & Malerion, & she cherishes those memories, but all the others are deeply horrific & they haunt her for decades.
