#Mankeeping
Maybe in order to understand mankeeping, we have to look at the word itself: "mankeeping". Basically, it's made up of two separate words — "mank" and "eeping". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankeeping.

i hate this kind of buzzword shit ("mankeeping", total misuse of the term "emotional labor") but a lot of men being unable to have emotional intimacy with anyone besides their female partner is a pretty common issue that puts a lot of management work on that guy's partner
a few days late to this but I think the only thing distracting from the toxic trends in straight woman relationship advice are the even more toxic trends in straight man relationship advice. this is a manipulative reworking of what "emotional labor" means. kindness to a loved one is not labor.
