Yeah, comparing Ella Langley to the rest of current pop country is like comparing a beautiful mastiff to one of those mangy dogs Texans call chupacabras
I think Choosin’ Texas is a pretty good song and I feel like a weird deviant for saying so.
I know we’re trying to hold the line against pop-country, but I just can’t find anything specifically wrong with it. It’s basically fine.

My review is that it’s pretty good and better than most contemporary country music because I had thought it was a country song from 1997 by Jo Dee Messina or something and that Garth Brooks era bullshit was better than it is now

I would never judge. We have 3 rescue dogs (had 5, 2 passed away), all w/ trauma, including a Bloodhound/Bull Mastiff cross who was starved & abused, w/ food aggression & other trauma related issues. We feed him in a separate room & work w/ a trainer/behaviourist. They are all absolutely worth it♥️

Today while getting the mail, I got to pet a mastiff!!! He was fully grown but still very puppy. He was so excited and kept trying to jump up on me, which I assured the owner was fine by me!! If I go getting bowled over by 130lbs of solid puppy, then that’s how I go ✨

This happened to us. Nearly 4 years ago now. An off leash dog came running across the oval an attacked Apollo who was on a lead. The owner did nothing we were screaming and trying to kick the dog off. $700 later at the vet. Lucky he's a type of mastiff and has thick loose skin around his neck.

She’s actually pretty good about not doing that, even though she’s got atrocious spatial awareness. But that’s because I didn’t give in to the temptation to snuggle her in my lap when she was a puppy.
And the reason I didn’t is that her predecessor Rain (125-lb mastiff) wanted to be a lap dog.
