Here's a #Wryneck that was a lovely surprise to find in Banc D'arguin in Mauritania. It was not a bird I was expecting to see in a desert.
This was taken on Saturday with a sunset walk around the camp.

So an interesting morning...not so much in a good way. We were following a group of cars & the first car got stuck in some mud. Whilst trying to get the car out, I went birding & got 2 #Lifers. A #CricketWarbler & a #FulvousBabbler.
Got 1 other lifer but I didn't have my camera with me.

Woken up at 4am sleeping in a straw hut in the desert in Mauritania. Had to unzip the mosquito net to walk 30m to pee. 1st thing I did was check my phone to see if the Blue Tsunami was going to be true. Yippee. Hopefully this is a step forward. Hoping trump & musk suffer.
