So I've been starting to do some mindless luxcavations while doing the more low-key work for commissions.
Somehow, over 100 of my IDs are at Lv 50 now. I kinda want to try to max all of them out by the end of the season

For a while there were No Birds around. Wings were seen going into a red cedar way off so I took pics with max zoom to look at later. Merlin app has amusing ids, but to me it looks like a Cedar Waxwing. The songs have been around, but I've never spotted one. It is a bird! 🪶🌿

I made an animated visualization of mapping observations to latent IDs using simulated annealing. This was done so I could model latent traits across a finite population in longitudinal survey data.

Yeah, the gotchas of USB as a whole system aren't well known outside of basically people who have written USB drivers and needed to deal with buggy devices.
Like, devices on unpowered hubs all get new port IDs but they all share the same max power of a single port, which is 2.5W/4.5W for USB2/3.
