I do medcomms where a lot of leading physician-researchers (like Lead Authors on NEJM articles, patent holders and such) still pick up shifts at VA. Many also do medical research on the veteran population. They don't do it for the $$.

Unless the perfect role come along with the right company, I’ve largely given up looking for another marketing communications role in #lifesciences and #medcomms.

I think a lot of people in tech are probably feeling something close to despair about what to do about LLMs, since it’s clear that those with power are not going to relent with their advocacy, and they have enough uses that they’ve gained critical mass, yet the harms & risks are so wildly egregious…

✅ Career goal complete! Excited to say my illustration was selected for the Feb issue of Nature Neuroscience! It was an absolute pleasure working with cutting edge researchers to visualize their study on neural activity in a playful, metaphorical way.
