Today at LaSalle Street Station, I joined Metra to unveil North America’s first battery-powered trainset, backed by $169.3M in federal funding. 🚆⚡

My comment is for Metra to push the STB in the UP-NS merger to get control over the UP-N and UP-NW lines.

I got to see so many friends - everyone is excited that it’s modern and that Metra will get its first original train (all designs it currently operates predate Metra’s formation)
