For example, I took a basketball class and graduated w/all-time 8th man Jud Buechler (look it up), and may have followed Stephanie Seymour (not sure if she still WENT to school after I moved there).

Microlending organizations in the third world prefer to loan money to women over men. The reason is simple, when women gain wealth they improve the lives of their entire households. When men gain wealth, men gain wealth. Also, women are more likely to pay it back.

Just having the ability to DELAY pregnancy until early 20s granted huge, huge, huge benefits to women.
That's also when I got involved in microlending to impoverished places (including the US) to help women start biz. :)

Finished another 5Y cycle of microlending. ROI 8.37%. 209 loans, 185 paid, 24 charged off. This was help for REAL PEOPLE. Not organizations. Actual humans received benefit of a microloan, and restored my feel for humanity more than any stock. Thanks people. I am glad to close this effort with you.
