ARMA and milsim games are the best at this in my experience

Just once, *just once* I want one of these games to then turn around and put the player in the position of being on the other side of one of these sequences and not in a cool quicktime-event-action sequence sort of way, but in an actually disempowering sort of way.
It's going to be hard to top the AC-130 sequence in the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for just how dehumanizing a depiction of superpower war can be.

I feel like a milsim tactical RPG that’s vaguely “Stripes” coded with an anime aesthetic could sell like hotcakes among the fem/queer RPG nerd and veteran communities. Especially in the areas where there is overlap.
