literally this is why i chose marathon as my first extraction shooter and my return to multiplayer gaming in general.
like. yeah i guess its unpopular and full of sweats but it doesnt even use the aesthetics and language of modern war. im so tired of milsim stuff and jingoistic slopaganda in games

Is he just counting on always reloading with rounds left? Like, I get that it's important to practice replacing the magazine, but it seems like actually loading the weapon is the most important part of reloading. I dunno, I just play milsim videogames sometimes.

Halo 2 almost goes without saying. Its my fave in the series, what with the covenant perspective via the arbiter, extremely compelling story, cinematics, & iconic OST, and the way it really hooked me on milsim/scifi after the first game exposed me to the genres. Yeh its ugly, but charming
