Citizens assemblies, sortition, lottocracy, deliberative minipublics are all in slightly different ways instantiations of government by amateur & all are meant to circumvent, replace, or complement compromised institutions like elected representatives & political parties.

This 'process' and those like it are exercises in anti-decision-making that empower the least representative and most asinine groups of the community to prevent the common good entirely, or at least for poor or disadvantaged groups. Use sortition for planning cells, juries or minipublics instead.
