Because I believe Illumination thinks audiences can’t handle this, they never try. Hell, Minions and Monsters had to add a narrator for a scene that was allegedly initially 15 minutes of Minionese.

"Shamilton" is the hardest I've laughed in ages. Absolute genius-level improv. On at The Other Palace theatre in Victoria. Every show is different - we got Gru (from Despicable Me) falling in love with Princess Di at uni, run roughly through the songs from Hamilton. They... they rapped in Minionese!

Minions & Monsters might be the worst movie I've ever seen. Weird pacing, an endless sequence of fell-flat gags, and no one to empathize with. Also Minionese is weirdly just Spanish now? I realize I'm not the target audience but it's REALLY bad. My kids liked it but holy moly #moviesky
