If anyone out there makes photo books, I can highly recommend MixBook over a few others I've used across the years. Mainly because it's layout software is nice, simple & useful & it's drag & drop works (the latter is possibly because I changed to ON1 from Adobe Lightroom as my library s'ware)

If you don’t care about keeping the original consider creating your own coffee table book. Pick a platform like Mixbook, Artifact Uprising, or WhiteWall, select a large square or landscape format with a hardcover, curate the photos & off you go. Wirecutter reviewed these platforms a while back.

Mixbook is my go-to; I was really unhappy with the Snapfish calendars I had made for grandparents, but pleased with how the Mixbook option turned out. A quick Google suggests that Mixbook has a UK arm.

I highly recommend Mixbook if you want a one-off. They’re designed for printing photo albums but I’ve used them for art books and they were reasonable as long as you aren’t getting into hundreds of pages. (You’d likely have to reformat pages using their online app though.)

I made a mixbook of my Amends episode photos. It brings me joy to see my silly droid costumes and constructed sets on paper. Wish I could afford to do them all. Maybe someday.

Creating this book with her story and lots of photos helped. I did it on Mixbook, which is just outstanding.

This is the correct take. I have now made two books with Mixbook and they both came out fantastic. The big project was a recipe book of my wife's favorite recipes over the years. a big Christmas hit.

I’m keen to get recommendations for photo book creators (UK based)? Which are the best apps out there? I’ve tried Mixbook (gave up as the uploader took forever), Journi which is good but not quite as adaptable as I’d like - though I really like the automatic map feature. #photobooks #photography
