If you're unsure then to check go to MoneySavingExpert. If I have anything I think it good moneysaving it goes there first. If you can't find it there, then its almost certainly a scam!

If you take something like, say the whole concept of a bottle episode - that’s about saving money and needing to do something in the slot! But that original moneysaving idea is what gives you “Three Men and Adena”.

That's really important for human happiness - the modal human being on an FE course is happy, the modal human being who is NEET (not in education, employment or training) is unhappy). But if your starting approach is mere moneysaving you will just make people unhappy and probably won't save money:
How to stop the fruitless search for welfare savings
Governments chase illusory short-term cuts when what’s needed are routes back into lasting employment

I hate that phrase "do your research." Everything is put on someone else to do the work for, asking them to do something that they're not necessarily equipped to do. This constant downloading moneysaving spendthrift thinking is bullshit. IMO.
