Subsidizing parking will not make #Denver safer, greener, or more prosperous.

Encouraging people to drive to drink is a really bad idea
Mayor Johnston's new $5 parking scheme incentivizes drinking and driving downtown, in shocking disregard for rising traffic violence

How Denver’s shifting plans for Alameda Avenue created a PR nightmare for Mayor Mike Johnston

#Denver City Council said no to a #Flock contract. Mayor #MikeJohnston signed it anyway and lied about the unsolved death of hairstylist #JaxGratton to justify his likely lawlessness.

Denver mayor touts Flock cameras for solving a case that isn't solved
"First of all, Jax's case is not solved," Jax Gratton's mother said. "And Flock cameras had nothing to do with finding the perpetrators. Absolutely nothing."

Just a reminder that #Denver *also* had #FlockCameras, after #MikeJohnston ignored the council's rejection earlier this summer and entered a contract with #Flock anyway.

You should contact his office at MOComms@Denvergov.org, and contact your council members too.

The City and County of Denver took away almost 170 people's ability to provide for themselves and their family, just over two weeks ago.

Apparently, there is no more budget crisis, and the city now has money to offer raises to Denver police? 🤔
