Extremely rewarding: going through dad’s “old engine box”, fishing out this beat up castor-oil caked + seized Enya .29 (‘64-74), cleaning it up together, and getting it to a point where it looks way better and will likely run. I was sure this was not salvageable.

Years ago I stopped flying IC powered model aircraft and started flying only electric.
It has been a slooooowwww return for me, having gotten so out of practice with these motors. But tonight I think I sorted out this 4-stroke I was having problems getting running. 😅😅

I wasn't super happy with this P2V Neptune "Operation Deep Freeze" kit, and I goofed up the number decals and had to repaint them, so I didn't bother masking and painting the canopy.
