Spent the day knitting the other style of ‘Monster Paws’. This one is a bumpy knit for regular yarn. These ones are for me.😊💜

I totally forgot to post my art post yesterday, I’m sorry! My only excuse is everything hurts. 🫩 So, 1st post: a pair of blue & white monster paws (fingerless mittens; polyester bouclé & chenille) I finished just now.
A colour photo of my left hand modeling the striped fingerless mitts I designed that I call “Monster Paws”. They are knitted in blue chenille and white bouclé yarn, wrist length. The blue is chenille, and the white is bouclé, knitted in narrow stripes, so that they are fluffy and soft. Background is my red sofa. I occasionally sell items like this to raise money for the historical group we belong to, to help pay for improvements to our event site. (This pair is a gift).

Bob was a love, and modeled my now-finished fingerless monster mittens. We agreed “Monster Paws“ was a better name, and he says they’re a men’s size large.

They’re simple; just knit & purl the stripes. The secret is knit a row in colour 2, then purl. 🧶😊
