Kirbtober Day 25: Blade
#metaknight #bladeknightkirby #sirkibble #chillykirby #darkmetaknight #galactaknight #morphoknight #KirbyArt #KirbyFanArt #Kirbyofthestars #hoshinokirby #Kirbtober #Inktober #Kleki #MyArt #Artsky #ArtistOnBluesky #SmallArtist #Artwork #Art #DigitalArt

Imma start with Meta Knight first because why not. We all know Meta Knight but this is a part for blades, I'll talk about the legendary sword: Galaxia. Long ago, she was forged by a mysterious fire person and the materials that made her were lost to time, eventually an equally mysterious swordsman took Galaxia to get an upper hand against a powerful enemy and she considered Meta Knight worthy to wield her. The sword's powers are very unique and allow Meta Knight to perform deadly strong attacks, including summoning tornadoes. But lately. Meta Knight gains powers that are outside of Galaxia herself, but Meta Knight will keep using his trusty sword until the day he goes away.

Yeah I did decide to use some elements from KRBAY, but considering the name Galaxia first came from the anime for peak shake, I think it's fair use to do adapt some elements to give Galaxia an origin story, also yes Galaxia is female like in the English Dub.

Next is the guy literally called Blade, and since this prompt is called Blade, I think it's fair game to draw Blade Knight. The classic sword enemy has appeared in a vast majority of Kirby games, often being a source to give ya the famous Sword Copy Ability or an Helper, or even a loyal ally to Meta Knight, this guy is everywhere and naturally, in my AU, he is part of Meta Knight's crew along with Sword Knight & the Meta-Knights.

Blade Knight's sword has gone through some changes in the decades that he appeared in Kirby media, to a basic sword to a unique sword with some tipped spikes, to lacking those tipped spikes, to having Sword Kirby's Sword in Star Allies and... Forgotten Land and the Switch 2 Edition for some reason, he ain't supposed to wield Sword Kirby's sword, idk why Blade Knight wields Sword Kirby's Sword, to eventually having his weapon return in both Kirby Air Riders and World Beyond. I am using the sword from most of his appearances, but it's tipped with two spikes now.

Oh yeah, this infamous level.

We saw Sir Kibble, we saw him again but in his Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards appearance, but now he is back in action but using the modern design again from Kirby Air Riders. While not a sword, Sir Kibble's cutter blade is a well.. blade that can be used for more projectile usage. He is seen hanging out with Chilly & shockingly Dark Meta Knight because their 'boss' wants something from this location and he brought a long two characters for some help.

Oh yeah, speaking of Chilly. I haven't drawn them since 2024, and that was not only in my Chrome Canvas era, but also my screenshot of my school Chromebook to post art phase and the drawing itself was in my first Christmas Countdown drawing, But now they're back after 3 years later, but since Chilly is a species I can draw them in different genders, this Chilly that is shown here is female.

Chilly was helping out both Sir Kibble and Dark Meta Knight but they encounter a situation where they have to cut the platform but it is above her and they're all confused why this was even formed like that, let alone who decided to build this thing.

I know that Chilly doesn't use any blades of sorts but since Chilly's first and only appearance in KBRAY showed that Chilly can use an icicle as a sort of blade, so I am counting it in.

Dark Meta Knight is back in action and they needed some help in order to get something from their 'boss' and Sir Kibble and Chilly to get that item but once they encounter this odd stature, they're all baffled by this and ponder how to safely cut the rope without hurting anyone.

Dark Meta Knight's blade is a copy of Galaxia but twisted and evil, so I'll dub this sword: Voidalixa. This sword can do different attacks from Galaxia and even summon three Voidalixa from the ground, since the sword itself is a mirror of sorts.

The background here is a low-budget version of that infamous part of White Wafers which got famous around this year (I think)

Are lance considered to be a blade of sorts? Idk but imma count it because the way Galacta Knight uses this weapon is more like how the Meta Knight & Clones use their sword.

I just wanted to have an excuse to draw Galacta Knight again and since a lance might be considered a blade of sorts? I think it is a good time to draw Galacta Knight again. His design here is based on his appearance in Star Allies & Super Kirby Clash where he gained a slight redesign.

I am not sure this is actually a lance or not, and I don't think it was given a name unlike Galaxia when that was brought over from KRBAY. But it does allow him to perform some usual attacks but also doing stuff that is unique to him.

The background here is space.

Last but not least is the fluttery souls collector herself: Morpho Knight (FL version)

I changed Morpho Knight's colors again to be actually dark red rather than some mix of orange & red, and use the orange that is from those certain orange creatures back in Dream Land.

After the events of Forgotten Land & Adventures in Kirby's New Worlds, she managed to escape the Lord of Chaos and returned to her own realm where she raises up her sword and looks at it.

Morpho Knight's blade has to be one of my favorite blades besides from Galaxia, it's a very unique appearance and the butterfly angle they went with it after ditching that odd prototype one from Kirby GCN was pretty neato (where Morpho Knight would've appeared first if that game didn't get cancelled.). Also the fire attacks from the sword are very cool. But also difficult to draw due to the nature of this blade's appearance but I once again was able to get it sorted down.

The background here is original and this is how I think Morpho Knight's own realm would look like, fitting for a butterfly warrior who can use flames to her advantage.

And that's all for now! Next time, we'll go a little old school with this prompt. But until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

Sometimes crossovers can go...weird directions.
Y'know, the being in the Kirby universe known for absorbing the essence of those who suffer and lived beyond would PROBABLY be interested in "The Cage with Human Soul and Parts"

Morpho Knight has taken the SOUL for itself and Kris has begun to metaphorfisize into butterflies.

(Bonus!) The Ladies Against a Butterfly Warrior of Souls
#adeleine #adeleinekirby #susiehaltmann #morphoknight #KirbyandtheForgottenLand #KirbyArt #KirbyFanArt #kleki #MyArt #Artsky #ArtistOnBluesky #SmallArtist #Artwork #DigitalArt

Adeleine was defeated by Kirby and friends after her possession and while was freed from Dark Matter's control, she was knocked out and had her limp body to be carried by Lololo & Lalala. She suddenly wakes up to find herself in a strange but yet familiar area. She also finds out that Susie is here too and most importantly, a familiar butterfly warrior with her sword up. Adeleine raises her weapons and decides to fight.

Susie Haltmann was helping out Kirby & Adeleine during the factory story but she was knocked out by Noddy Sleep Gas from Parallel Susie and got kidnapped to help Eggman to clone The Ultimate Life-Form. She later got recused by her friends but just like Adeleine, she was still out cold and had to be in Waddle Dee Town. She later wakes up to find herself in an unknown location and next to Adeleine. And just like her best friend, Susie finds herself with the Butterfly Warrior and she plans to take it on with Adeleine.

Yeah, I made Morpho Knight a female but I do take it into a count that since Forgotten Land showed us that there's more butterfly's in the final world of Kirby and the Forgotten Land Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed Worlds, the butterflies there can be male and female, and Star Allie's Morpho Knight is male. Anyhow, this is my first time in a while drawing Morpho Knight again since last year and that drawing of Morpho Knight last year was quite sloppy. Now her design is actually good, although I struggle with the markings below the mask.

The background here is a much more enhanced version of the background that was used in *Almost* Every Mainline Kirby Game Drawings: The Finale. This is also the same background from The Final Act: Lab Discovera drawing but because of my Chromebook removed all of my drawings, I couldn't reused my assets so here's a almost one to one clone of the former background.

And that's all for now! I'll be on the drawing board. Until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see yall next time.
