Kirby’s appearance here is no surprise: his sprite from Kirby’s Dream Land but this time it is directly from that and not any official artwork, so that means no blush cheeks or marks, just plain ol’ classic Kirby. Kirby is shocked to find out that he is both pixelated and completely different. King Dedede’s appearance here is not from Kirby’s Adventure this time, but rather the colors from Kirby’s Dream Land, which I’ll assume that ya probably got a GameBoy that wasn’t green screen because otherwise that would be quite awkward. Anyhow, this isn’t a direct one-to-one with the sprite of King Dedede from Kirby’s Dream Land but It’s almost like it. King Dedede is kinda slimmer here and he saw Taranza in a pixel form, which it’s obvious that Taranza didn’t appear in a NES era, so Triple D wonders where did he get this pixel form and form what? It isn’t completely one-to-one with the unofficial-offcial sprite that was used in the Keychain, the green could’ve been lighter, the color I used for some parts of Taranza could’ve been brighter and the eyes are different. But it is nearly spot on. Taranza doesn’t know how he gained this form and is rather sick of the idea of revisiting their past for nostalgic shake, not like he has always had to be reminded of Joronia’s death, which doesn’t help things either. Meta Knight’s appearance here is from Kirby’s Adventure, which is also his first appearance. Despite having official artwork that shows off a completely different design for The Lone Swordsman, his sprite did not represent the artwork, instead it’s a completely original design made to fit with the limitations for the NES even though the game & SNES/famicom itself was fully capable of showing off better sprites for characters, the Kirby series in terms of sprites like to play around with different styles though, and during the fight against Gryll, they used a completely different sprite for her in the battle. Although what ya see here is a mix between my redesign of Gryll, specifically just the hair because yes the three outwards hair is still hard to draw for me but uses the sprite from her secret final boss fight, complete with the three sided witch hat, three yellow stripes, different Star Block tip and eyes that match the sprite, oddly featuring green eyes if ya squint a little, which is odd since her actual artwork in her introduction cutscene has her in the actual design they went with. Magolor was given a unique sprite to resemble Kirby’s Adventure’s sprites. Which means Magolor is sorta back to his normal design instead of the redesign that I give him but there’s some differences. Just like Taranza, Magolor’s skin color is black, the blue is much lighter than usual, the purple is completely missing from the blow, and Magolor’s gloves are very light blue instead of light-ish yellow. While obviously not appearing until Kirby Super Star where he gained the retro appearance, since Waddle Dees’s design didn’t got finalized yet, but I am reaching here to add in Bandana Waddle Dee, so the design here is a Waddle Dee’s sprite from Kirby’s Adventure but the bandana is black. Although I am not the first one who decided to do this as Super Smash Flash 2/SSF2 already did this with Bandana Waddle Dee as a fighter, but I simplified it even more to better match the Waddle Dees sprite in Kirby’s Adventure, which means no blush cheeks/lines and black eyes, and axed the Dedede Logo. (Character limit of 2000 isn't enough for detailed dives, so BRONTO BURT, Scarfy and Starman are pink to match with Kirby's Adventure)

Kirbtober Day 27: Crown
#queenripple #kingdedede #princefluff #taranza #gryll #gryllkirby #mastercrown #magolor #KirbyArt #KirbyFanArt #Kirbyofthestars #hoshinokirby #Kirbtober #Kirbtober2026 #Inktober #Inktober2026 #Kleki #MyArt #Artsky #ArtistOnBluesky #SmallArtist #Artwork #DigitalArt
Queen Ripple makes her appearance once again with some slight changes to her appearance, the dark purple eyes are even more dark purple, her skin tone is matching with characters who share the same skin tone, the sleeves has hearts on them and she has more freckles than before, including her ears. She is happy to see the hero of Ripple Star: King Dedede again after the last visit he and his friends made, which was to save the Star and got rewarded & promoted at the ceremony. So it makes sense why she’s very happy to see someone with high status like King Dedede. Despite calling himself a king, King Dedede doesn’t wear a crown and there’s rumors saying he isn’t even the real King of Dream Land, but no one has taken action against Dedede for reasons yet to be known. All we do know is that he is improving on that status that he may or may not take the role of. But he also lacks any sort of crown to wear, so he made one in a quickie and visited Ripple Star to show off to Queen Ripple. Guess who hasn’t been in my drawings since 2024? Prince Fluff. I’m not even going to lie, Prince Fluff is very forgettable for me, like he’s just there, he’s friends with Kirby sure but there are others out there who are friends with Kirby and can stand out on their own. The only reason why I draw him in is because he wears a crown, also his design here is supposed to capture yarn appearance that he takes on, what’s notable here is that even outside of Patch Land, he is still in his yarn form instead of Kirby shape form that a lot of fan drawings of him when he’s out of Patch Land. But uh yeah, Prince Fluff, he exists. The background here is inside of Castle Ripple, but an actual living space this time. Taranza was looking for the late Joronia’s crown when she was put down by Kirby, after many years of looking for the crown, he finds it but it’s heavily dirty from being buried underground and from the laser. He figured that the only person that can clean it up is Gryll, and luckily she is good at cleaning stuff, and after carefully cleaning the crown that once was worn by the late Joronia, she gives it to Taranza but he wanted to bring along Gryll to Floralia to visit Joronia, Gryll tags along but what she didn’t know that Taranza meant until she realized he meant visiting her grave. Taranza puts the crown on the grave and begins to mourn the loss of his love. Gryll has been friends with Taranza for quite some time and both being on Team Misfit Jesters did help, and she did help Taranza fight the corruption of the Black Mirror back in the Dream Kingdom. She finds Taranza to be very funny due to the silly stuff he says and quips that he says in the heat of battle, and she finds him quite charming. Although Gryll didn’t know half of Taranza’s other side of things until he visited her in her house to have Joroina’s crown to be cleaned up, she asked ‘does the crown belong to anyone?’ Taranza just nods and asks Gryll to follow him so they can visit a place called Floralia so they can visit Joroina. At first she was none the wiser and just assumed they’re seeing Taranza’s friend and grab her Gear Broom and fly on it to keep up with Taranza & visit Floralia. But after some time following Taranza, she realized that they’re visiting her grave, Gryll reacted by putting her floating hands on her mouth in shock and seeing Taranza in mourning, she attempts to comfort Taranza but she hesitates, probably because she’s not used to being emotionally vulnerable with anyone outside of her kids, but Taranza does see the attempt due to his spider-like appearance and the result of that is having more than two eyes. The background here is entirely original. (4th Time The Charm DX) Ah frick, here we go again. I mean, yall expected this right? The prompt is called crown, RTDL turned 15 years old, no brainer. Yet again we have Sage pushing themselves to the limits here because clearly they want to do this again. And ya’r right, I did this because I wanted to. We all know by this point and not like I already explained it to death already so imma skip to the designs. Magolor’s design here in this drawing is not the redesign but rather the Interdimensional Magolor design that is seen here and later on got a reference as the only alt he has in Kirby Air Riders, although in this drawing here, it’s the actual design than the pallet swap of Kirby Air Riders. After the space hell that he went through as the direct result of his actions, he regained the powers that he lost and he is now fighting against the thing that got him into this mess to begin with, and with newfound knowledge & wanting to redeem himself, Magolor stands up against the Master Crown. Just like Magolor here, I hate the Master Crown, drawing it anyways, like the actual boss fight is badass along with the design, but it’s the design that kills me. Just like the last time I drew the Master Crown, I had to use a different tab of Kleki to draw this and copy & paste it. Although ya notice that the design is different here than like, the 4th time I drew this thing? Not only the colors are different here but the design itself, and that’s because I had to look extra hard for the actual Master Crown design. Once I looked at it, I did the best I could, which resulted in this design of the Master Crown boss instead of the other three attempts. The background here is reused from my Kleki celebration of RTDLD’s anniversary but a little more touched up than before but the colors are the same. With the crown no more, that’s all for now. Next time, why not sit down and have some treats? But until then, I hope yall have a good one! And I’ll see yall next time.

(DX) No one likes being betrayed by the ones ya consider to be friends, and that's no truer than the Kirby Fandom, which has been traumatized from newer Kirby friends ever since the jester & the egg used Kirby for their own goals... Even though it only happened twice and somehow the fandom treats it like it happens often and the joke is overused and I hate it. (Like chill out) Anyhow, today's prompt is Betrayal, and I am covering all three of them today! Wait, what do ya mean by three, Sage? Well stay tuned for the last one. Remember I pointed out I could've done this earlier in my prompt for wish? This is what I meant, I knew I was going to do this eventually so here's the true drawing itself, and a DX version of last year's Kirbtober, which was also in wish funnily enough. Kirby was seeing the moon and the sun fighting for no reason, but a jester named Marx told Kirby he could do something about it if he gets the colored stars and summoned a Clockwork Star named Galactic Nova. Which Kirby eventually does but when he was going to wish for something, Marx heel turned and kicked Kirby out and said his own wish, to control Planet Pop Star. Leaving Kirby dead in space and he was the one who cause the Moon & the Sun to fight to begin with, he planned this from the beginning. Marx's colors here are based on the artwork from Kirby Super Star, hence the different pallet than the new one I used in yesterday's art, and this is before he absorbed to reanimate his corpse to get back at Kirby. So Galactic Nova's energy changed up his skin color and was still able to keep his new powers after his defeat. Ya know, I was considering reusing the asset that I have for Galactic Nova in my drive, but I decided to just draw Galactic Nova again, but she has the correct eye color now. Other than that, yeah her design is still the same. The background however is still the same color of blue from my Kirby Super Star Ultra drawing, which is the few that I saved in my drive. (DX) So, full stop, I did this without knowing that Kirby Return to Dreamland was turning 15 years old. So, uhm, consider this second drawing of Kirbtober to be the anniversary art for RTLD as well. Ah, it's been a while since I drew Traitor Magolor? Well this prompt (and 15th birthday) has given me an excuse to draw Traitor Magolor again! The design of him has improved greatly and the colors are made to be more accurate to Traitor Magolor's colors, and the red and blue are made much more darker than the Chrome Canvas colors I used, which still did a good job for Traitor Magolor, I bothered to do the rings that is around his hands, and his eyes are no longer red but somewhat in the middle that the design uses. Complete with the Master Crown on top of his head since it's how he even gained this form to begin with. Kirby when he is confronted that one of the people he trusted betrayed him, he just stares with no other expression behind it. Which actually annoyed Traitor Magolor. Bandana Waddle Dee however is completely taken back by the betrayal that Magolor pulled on them and he ended up falling onto the floor on his back because of Traitor Magolor's betrayal. King Dedede is heavily shocked by this news and he is stunned and lost for words. He is dumbfounded beyond belief. Yeah I know Meta Knight is on the ground when this happened but since Traitor Magolor & King Dedede took up room space, I resorted to having Meta Knight flying with his wings. He has been carefully trusting Magolor, he never really trusted him fully but now that Magolor revealed his true colors, he is angered by the betrayal. The background here is from the Let Me Explain Everything cutscene where Magolor revealed his true goals after Kirby and friends defeated Landia. Happy 15th anniversary Kirby Return to Dreamland! Wait, what? Why Kracko is here in this drawing, they didn't even betray Kirby, they just hate Kirby. And ya would be right in that thinking, but if ya don't recall, in Kirby Fighters Deluxe on Very Hard, if ya pause the game on their boss fight in that game, they will actually talk in the pause screen in an upset way, and even references certain games like being hit by Hi-Jump, that was in Kirby's Adventure, replaced by a mechanical cloud, that was in Kirby Squeak Squad and Doc, and the important one here is being betrayed by helpers. Even Kirby can benefit from a heel turn and Kracko is upset by this. So this is the part that I am referencing. In Kirby Super Star/Kirby Super Star Ultra, ya can use Helpers and Kracko often drops Waddle Doos in the battlefield, which Kirby can use to gain a Copy Ability or to create a Helper, which is what happened here. Waddle Doo was sent into battle by Kracko but Kirby made sure that he could make that Waddle Doo heel turn on Kracko, which is exactly what happened and now Waddle Doo fights Kracko. Beam Kirby's appearance here is from Kirby Super Star Ultra, so expect the color change that game had in that time, and it would be the last time that Beam can grant Kirby a color change. Kracko's appearance here is the same as always, although I made sure that he has eyelids and not just an angry expression, which was also added in their revenge form as well. The background here is directly reused from the Kracko Revenge drawing that I did for Kirby Super Star Ultra's anniversary. Which adds up since the battlefield for Kracko in Kirby Super Star changed to be this, and Kracko Revenge does reuse this battlefield in their appearance after Kracko Jr Revenge. So it adds up. And that's all for now, next time, we'll show off the blades. Until then, I hope yall have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

King Dedede is no stranger to trying to settle a score with Kirby but all of the attempts ended up as a failure and his last attempt resulted in the king being depressed. But now his burning revenge strikes again but this time, he brought a friend. They appeared as Old Rivals and they challenge Kirby to the fight, they lose but they both learn how to use their skills and powers to sync up and even perform team-up attacks. And now King Dedede is ready to fight against Kirby and his buddy for the final time. Unlike King Dedede, Meta Knight doesn’t have some burning desire to settle a score with Kirby outside of their sword matches and that one time he wanted to take control of Dream Land. Meta Knight has had a rather odd dynamic with Kirby ever since the knight showed up to give Kirby an Invincible Candy. There is always a mystery going on with him but this time there’s no mystery, he got convinced from King Dedede to settle a score and now packing the powers he gained from the Jamba Heart, Meta Knight is ready to fight with his best friend. Uhh.. yeah this is an attempt on drawing Wrestler Kirby but this went poorly. As ya know, Wrestler Kirby first and only appearance (so far) is in Kirby Fighters 2 so I wanted to draw the Copy Ability but this is not it. It resembles my drawings from Chrome Canvas if anything, so this is probably the last time that I’ll draw Wrestler Kirby because of how impossible it is to draw. Last but not least is Gooey! I know Kirby Fighters 2 features Bandana Waddle Dee in the story mode selection and only buddy that ya can have in the start, but uhh, yeah ya can see the Sworn Partners took all of the space here, and I needed the character that can fly but fit under these limitations, so here’s Gooey. He ate the invite but knew what it was and he occasionally joined up with Kirby, everyone else get their chance but in the finale, Gooey appears again with Kirby. Kirby in the past has entered the competition for Star-Stacker with Rick, Kine & Coo, and they did well, fighting against some foes including Meta knight & King Dedede. But when the night comes, an onion witch arrives with a familiar way of greeting someone like that late jester who tried to destroy Pop Star. But unlike him, she is more interested in beating Kirby in a match of Star-Stacking and with his Love-Love Stick, Kirby competes & fights against the onion witch known as Gryll. I haven’t drawn the Love-Love Stick in ages, mostly because… it’s not that challenging to draw and it’s not that special in my opinion, also it’s a glorified Baseball Bat but it shoots hearts due the only target that it can deal serious damage to, has already been defeated, so Kirby left it in his home but he does use it to give his opponents in Star-Stacking head injury, that’s includes Gryll. Hey, hey, heeey! Gryll was the undefeated Star-Stacking witch for quite sometime, going to galaxies just to ambush the best star-stackers and defeat said star-stackers in a match, but her win streak ended when she ambushed Kirby to fight in a round of Star-Stacking but she wasn’t above using force because her broom doubles as a weapon, but with all her might and skills, her broom broke and she got buried under star blocks and she was defeated. She did throw a little fit at first but she did eventually regain her bearings, made peace with Kirby fly off to parts unknown, until recently where she reappeared and made friends, and found love with a certain egg wizard. Gryll may be friendly towards Kirby but she does view him as a rival due to their history but she is much more friendly compared to King Ddedede & Meta Knight, she raises her new broom that she got gifted from her boyfriend, she smirks with Kirby who is also sharing a confident smile.

King Dedede noticed that Adeleine didn't have a home of any kind after she said that she wants to live in Planet Pop Star, so King Dedede took Adeleine & Bandana Waddle Dee to Castle Dedede after a long journey. And he allows Adeleine to call this place her home and she is allowed to have her own room and can do whatever she wants with it. After the events of Kirby 64, both her and Ribbon decided to go on a galaxy adventure and they had a pretty nice time together! But in that time, Adeleine grew up and so did Ribbon. However, once they spotted purple hearts in Pop Star, they revisited the Pop Star to help out. And after saving the world again, she decided to stay in Pop Star but now she has no idea where to live. But luckily, she wouldn't be left homeless as she made friends with a king in the past, and due their friendship & respect, the King of Dream Land allows Adeleine to call his castle her home. And she is beyond happy to have a home. Bandana Waddle Dee was very happy to see Adeleine again after years but he did notice that she grew up a bit compared to the last time he saw her, not to mention a somewhat different outfit. But he still recognized her and they spent most of the time together as Team Crystal during most of the adventure. And once they saved the world again, he was happy that Adeleine expressed her feelings of wanting to live in Pop Star permanently. But he noticed that she doesn't have a home, so both King Dedede and him thought that they should let her live in Castle Dedede. And he is so happy that Adeleine wants to live in Castle Dedede after King Dedede allows her in. Surprise! This Kirbtober drawing is an excuse to have a little origin story for why Adeleine lives in Castle Dedede. And now ya know! The background here is literally Mt Dedede & Castle Dedede, that's about it. On to the next castle! Lololo & Lalala decided to invite some folks to their castle since it's been a while they have visitors outside of Kirby (who usually they have to fight) and King Dedede, whom they serve under and have to listen to for orders. But outside of those two and some subjects of their own, it's quite lonely, so they invited a few people in mind so they can have a welcome tour! Gooey was the first one to be invited but he ate the letter, luckily Rick also got a letter and brought Gooey anyways. He is always happy to explore new places and make friends and Lololo & Lalala do notice that Gooey is a swell fella and despite being challenged, they try their best to accommodate Gooey. And it seems like Gooey is getting along just fine! Man, it's been a while since I drew our ol' mate Rick. Rick the Hamster was invited to Castle Lololo (they're not aware of Coo & Kine, only Rick) and Rick did get to know them decently well in the Air Riders Event, so he accepted the offer and brought Gooey for the trip, he is happy that both of them are getting a tour around the place. Taranza was also invited to have a tour around Castle Lololo, he did got to know the couple well in the Air Riders event, and he cannot help but get reminded that they're similar to both himself and his late girlfriend. But he is shocked to find out that they're royalty, so he puts everything off to the back burner so he can visit them in their castle. And he is having a tour around the place, it makes him pleased. Last but not least for the guest is none other than the superhero: Starman! Lololo & Lalala knew about Starman's popularity before they were even selected to be in the Air Riders Event, so it was natural to just invite Starman in and he is happy to be here while having a tour around the place. Ya know, I realized after typing this that all of these characters I drew here just happened to be all be in Kirby Air Riders as playable Riders, isn't that a coincidence? Queen Ripple was expecting visitors because Ribbon had already informed the queen herself and she stepped out of her castle to wait for both her daughter & whoever it was to visit Ripple Star. And once she found out it was Gryll, she introduced herself and her Star. She also knows about recent events that happened around Pop Star because Ribbon often keeps in contact with her. She also knows Ribbon's new friends due to that, so she was made aware of Gryll herself. Gryll saw Queen Ripple and bow to her before being slightly off-put by Queen Ripple calling her the Onion Witch along with her actual name, she isn't upset or angered by it but she is slightly uneasy a bit but does point out she goes by 'Gryll', and she also was shock that Ribbon is related to the Queen of Ripple Star. But Gryll herself is also a mother, a mother of 3 so she is cannot be too shocked about finding out about this and she does understand why Ribbon would often love to tell a lot of stuff to her mother for a lot of reasons. Ribbon confirms the relations between her and Queen Ripple and she hopes that Gryll will enjoy the tour around Ripple Star and she wants to show off the statues of Ripple Star's heros! Please ignore any errors I made for the character's word speech, I am not good at writing and typing. The background here is from Ripple Star's inside and Castle Ripple can be seen right there next to our gals. It's still not that fun to draw to be honest with yall. And that's all for now! Next time, it's Scene Redraw, I don't know how to include that naturally since it can be whatever I want. Until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.
