And yes, I would use the European Motorvator names for them. Transformers nerds can't even mention Erector without making dumb jokes, and they STILL lose their shit about Slag's name when it had very valid reasons to change it...
You trust them not to be immature dewberries with "Blacker"?

Big shout outs to Matt Marshall again for making me this roof for my G1 Motorvator Lightspeed. Looks so spot on. Will be going to the Warhammer shop when I'm paid to get some primer and paint and brushes.

Sorted out the next part of my restore G1 Motorvator Lightspeed. Gonna need some paint. After that it's just sticker and it'll be in a state I'm happy with.

Managed to grab a Motorvator Lightspeed for £25 off Vinted minus sword earlier this week.
Now the rather expensive journey begins by the remains bots.

Ordered some replacement tires for my G1 Lightspeed to go towards my goal of somewhat restoring him. Got the Motorvator chest mechanism fixed by rotorstorm Sam at TFN. Got these from Matt Marshall of sloth and crocodile. Need to shoot him a message about a replacement roof for Lightspeed soon.

Finally have a Jan miniature for my Victory shelf eyes are not happening, even if I did paint them well they wouldn't look good at that size

As I subtly hinted yesterday, the Sketchcard Project has reached the Motorvators!
It hasn't scanned very well, but Lightspeed's visor is supposed to be a vivid neon orange. I need to work out how to scan neons better...

Okay TF Hive mind. What colour is Motorvator Flame?
Boxart says he's purple, Wiki pic says red and an eBay listing says purple also.

Overlord’s box is pretty damn majestic too. That glorious golden Euro Classic-style box shines on the shelf & the box back mural is beyond epic. LOOK AT IT! I used to spend hours staring at it on the back of my Motorvator boxes. The excellent tech specs really make Overlord sound almost supernatural

Like the kit overall, for around 20 quid from the printer (plus the file cost I'm happy enough to get some paint on and call Road Caesar done
