Good point. I’d have to make the paté and good luck finding Vietnamese pork roll in Devon. Also the mufaletta ingredients are pretty USA-centric.

Today I prepped much of what I bought. Quick pickling cabbage, grape tomatoes, jalapeños, cauliflower, green beans, red onions and okra. Also made a giardiniera/mufaletta that I put on almost everything I eat these days.

Other not fucked up recs: Hot Stuff for classic southern meat and three, Compere Lapin or Cane and Table for upscale Caribbean, Latitude 29 for world class tiki drinks and great Polynesian food, Fritai for Haitian. Killer Poboys for Poboys, Napoleon House for a mufaletta

Looks like the jury wanted to SUBMARINE the federal case against the sandwich guy. "They 'made him a STEAK'" said the jury. The cop has EGG on his face. The US attorney is now a pariah at his CLUB. And the defendant, they MUFALETTA him go. It was no CUBAN missile crisis.

When the nights draw in and thinga aren’t that brilliant, the absolute unit of a sandwich (it is most definitely a sandwich); the mufaletta, is a veritable antidote. Eaters please note - the density of this beast means i probably won’t need to eat until tuesday.

My favorite thing I've done was cold Asian noodle salads, because I got my nephews to cut the veg and I just had to make the sauce and cook the noodles ahead of time. (And cold food is great at the beach)
A few mufaletta style pressed sandwiches are good, too.
