bcos they get ‘donations’ from the same ppl and corporations.

wealthy libertarians and multinationals can’t lose if they’re bribing every party.
This is something I genuinely do not understand.
Why does Labour not do something about it now?
‘Reform is launching a drive to raise funds from wealthy offshore donors in low tax jurisdictions including Monaco, UAE and Switzerland.’

Britain’s election laws are broken - and, so far, Labour’s mooted fixes are completely insufficient

The 45/7 “administration” isn’t the only one purging references to climate change. Large corporations such as Walmart, Coca-Cola and Kraft Heinz are eliminating or watering down information on their climate change efforts.

The bill includes a series of corporate tax breaks, including loosening limits on how much interest large corporations can deduct. That will make it easier for multinationals to shift profits offshore by making interest payments to foreign affiliates.

Gotta “love” how republicans especially, but establishment Dems too completely sell out the USA & the voters for corporations & foreign countries. For Big Oil. For the MIC. Wars. Healthcare. Realty corporations. Multinationals. Banks. Wall Street.

Then they’re like “I’m a patriot. I love America.”

AZ peeps!! Looks like AZ07 has a person who wants to help YOU not the large corporations and multinationals.
Big corporations shouldn’t call the shots in #AZ07. Adelita Grijalva will fight to hold them accountable and defend working families, she'll stand up to corporate interests that exploit workers and communities & protect our natural resources. AZ07 deserves leaders who put people first.

My biggest take from Private Eye these days is that we are all owned by globals & that by prioritising data centres & US (in particular) multinationals, we are becoming Freeport UK
