There's further irony as Andrew Husband also say "Murton deserves someone who is 100% committed....". Funny, considering the reason there is a by-election is because Reform UK's previous councillor for Murton quit because he couldn't commit to being a councillor after just months in the role.

Laura Murton seeks damages and apology after police said her demonstration expressed support for banned Palestine Action
A protester who was threatened with arrest under the Terrorism Act for holding a Palestinian flag and having signs saying “Free Gaza” and “Israel is committing genocide” is taking legal action against the police force involved.
