I think this #bolete is Xanthoconium stramineum. Any other ideas on it? I don't have a cross-section picture, but there was no staining. Found in VT, USA in early August, growing around oaks.🍄

A fallen tree covered in Turkey Tail polypore mushrooms! They are edible but they have a tough texture. People make medicinal teas from it.
