A group of 6 small mushrooms (4 in focus). Straight stems, flat caps, slightly downcurved at the rims. White edges, brown centres. The caps are speckled with small pimples. Among leaves and runners of wild native blackberries.

A fallen tree covered in Turkey Tail polypore mushrooms! They are edible but they have a tough texture. People make medicinal teas from it.

I think this #bolete is Xanthoconium stramineum. Any other ideas on it? I don't have a cross-section picture, but there was no staining. Found in VT, USA in early August, growing around oaks.🍄
