Writing was inelegant, often times clumsy. Ultimately, it fell flat at the end…like it was rushed. It felt like the author just didn’t know how to end the story. It felt like a thud as opposed to a soft, graceful landing in the end. Disappointing. 3/5 ⭐️ #MyBestFriendsExorcism #booksky #books

These two most excellent novels made for one helluva double feature! Similar subjects, but delightfully different approaches and treatments. I highly recommend both @paultremblay.bsky.social’s #AHeadFullogGhosts and @gradyhendrix.bsky.social’s #MyBestFriendsExorcism!
