I think it’s time for Canada & Mexico to invoke NATO article 4, then meet with NAC to discuss. The EU as a whole SHOULD NOT share any intelligence with the USA under any circumstance

I think the answer is yes, but NAC ratification must be unanimous and the US would vote no. So, I think the sequence is the U.S. NATO membership must be suspended, then invoke and vote on Art V

That’s just not the case. In fact, EU probably doesn’t even need a treaty change since the 90s-00s language foresaw an EU military force. Political decision making/oversight also looks exactly like NATO - NAC vs Euro Council.

Wir sollten es wie die Nato machen. Da entscheidet ja auch das NAC, was das equivalent zum EU Rat ist, was die Regel des Einsatzes ist. Und wenn der Moment gekommen ist, in dem man sie einsetzen muss, dann macht es ein EU Befehlshaber nach SACEUR Vorbild.

Not sure what you are reading—probably the Atlantic Charter. The relevant body is the NAC (North Atlantic Council) and the issue is NATO use of military force. Pretty sure that has to be a unanimous NAC vote.

Correct me if I’m wrong but NATO would not come into play in such a scenario because:
A) Article 5 does not cover a situation where one NATO country attacks another and,
B) Even if it was invoked it could be effectively vetoed by the US as NAC decisions require consensus.

Correct me if I’m wrong but NATO would not come into play in such a scenario because:
