#NEAT
had the realization that I am two degrees of separation from Patrick Stewart via a college professor that acted in TNG. Huh. I am in fact Star Trek adjacent irl - neat!

A DJ friend introduced me to the Sixties Bee Gees song "Lemons Never Forget" and completely changed my view of the band. Neat stuff. youtu.be/jlk8swBeOu8

I think the best understanding is that the Nazis certainly looked at the Americans and went "huh neat thinking" early on but later they were so pathologically anti-US that a Norwegian propaganda poster mixes dancing slaves and /a Klan hood/ in their depiction of an American robot

I think I can safely claim that if you want to call yourself a Fire Emblem fan you have to play The Last Promise
This isn't a gatekeeping thing
I just think its very important for people to experience it because its really funny and neat

That's the neat part:

It's not a state of the art car with no state of the art features 🤫

You have protein in your pasta? That’s neat. My bowl of wriggling wet strands is not mere pasta, it’s Gublovian Sand Worms, which have way more protein. And taste better.

A neat plant I read about on Wikipedia! They produce a bubbling foam when near fire to prevent them from burning🔥

This is really quite a neat approach and it has me thinking about what I can glean from this for my own work. Maybe I'll write an article about that if I figure it out.

oh neat!!
It's been a month since the release of my latest book, which means that my promotion will be slowing down.

That said, I want to do one more thread. Because this book isn't just about BTAS, but about how valuable animation is as a creative medium.

Here are my seven favorite pieces of animation:
It's time to go back to Gotham City.

My book, I AM THE NIGHT: THE ULTIMATE UNAUTHORIZED HISTORY OF BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, comes out today! It's a narrative history of the landmark cartoon, packed with new interviews and deep-dive research.

oh neat, github is randomly failing my ssh key for some reason right now with "permission denied (publickey)".

Guess migrating their stuff to AI generated Rust isn't helping?

oh this is really neat!!

This game is dropping on my birthday. DO NOT BUY IT FOR ME, I am way too much of a baby and I’m too scared to play it myself. But it’d be neat if someone braver than me bought it to play themselves and let me watch 👀

Neat!

This series grew out of a lived journey through profound change, loss, rebuilding, and spiritual transformation. These episodes do not present refinement as a neat theological concept. They examine what refinement looks like when faith has to survive real life.

Neat. I do like SS86 Hot Rod but there's definitely a few things that fall a little short - I can see how scaling up and spending a bit more on engineering would help it out.

It makes listening to bad orchestras/choirs feel like you have a cat clawing at the inside of your brain but it can be very neat

So neither you nor the blogger you linked to know what “communism” means, neat.

I have three different sodalite pendants, but this one is pretty neat. Sodalite comes in so many shades, from light blue to deep navy, and has all sorts of inclusions ranging from grey to white to orange. Each piece is unique! www.lunalapidary.com/product/to-t...
To The Point
Tumbled and polished sodalite, wrapped in silver plated copper wire. An adjustable leather cord is included, or you can purchase a chain from the Chains section of the store.

Here's a neat little piece of clear/milky quartz that looks like a snow-capped glacier. Pretty sure this came in a batch of tumbling rough, it's rare to find quartz this clear in the ground where I am. www.lunalapidary.com/product/glac...

I got Mega Man X DiVE Offline in a create-a-bundle Fanatical was doing for Capcom games and this game is so neat if only to see characters you don't see often anymore due to the wider Mega Man series being stuck in remaster hell, it's cool seeing Axl again here
