I've managed to briefly test the new Resonite prerelease running on .Net9 this morning - and it's impressive to say the least. It's only desktop mode for now, so I can't yet compare VR performance, but it's night and day. I'm super excited.

Started today's #adventofcode with a generated regex, since .NET generates plain code for these it's still quite fast (0.0974 ms).

Then I handrolled a SearchValues, since .NET9 added support for strings, and that got it down to 0.0273 ms runtime. Pretty cool.

A huge update to the most powerful creative VR sandbox is about to be released!

It massively improves performance overall (Mono -> .NET9) and so many other improvements like snappy load times.

FrooxEngine and the Unity renderer are completely separate now, Massive feature blockers are removed!

I've updated all of my previously released Resonite mods to support .net9 in preparation for the update.

Make sure to update them when Resonite updates to .net9 or else they will not work properly.

BlazorWorker is now compatible with .net9, after a long wait. No new release has been created, however is tested with the latest .net9 dependencies (v9.0.7). Enjoy!

I've succeeded in installing the .NET9 SDK, creating a new Blazor WebAssembly project, building it, and launching it on the Linux terminal on my Android 15 device, Pixel 6. The latest system update added that Linux terminal to my phone. #Blazor

this time it was nuget dependency file generators. both the flatpak deps gen and the nix deps gen both just ignored the .net9 runtime dependencies so i had to make a script to diff the two and merge them together by hand
