The RNLI run a museum dedicated to Grace Darling & the rescue. There are a lot of items there that bring her story to life, including her father's eye glass she used to spot the survivors on exposed rock + many of the gifts she received when the story went 'viral'.

There Can be complicated situations where mercy may direct our conscience to help someone because, due to our lack of social safety nets, being widely disliked places them in real danger of starvation, homelessness, etc. But most of the time, simply being disliked doesn’t do that to people.
