In 2026, the NFCE plays the entirety of the NFCW and the AFCS. And, of course, 3 floating games depending on 2025 finish. The Eagles' 1st place floating opponents are arguably easier than the Cowboys' (2nd), Commanders' (3rd), and Giants' (4th) place opponents.

It’s basically because they have to play the Eagles (14 wins in 2024) and Commanders (12 wins) twice each. And then the NFCE teams also play the entirety of the NFCN, where 3 teams had good records, and the AFC West, where 3 more teams had good records.
Jimmy, obviously as an Eagles fan, I sort of love it, but trying to figure out how the Giants got so screwed by the schedule makers. Everyone seems to think they have one of the toughest schedules in the league. How did that happen?

NFCW teams play each other (hardest division in football last year by a lot), AFCW (second toughest division in football last year, again by a lot), and NFCE (mid but more likely to surprise to the upside than the downside)

More importantly, WAS (currently the 7 seed) are now 0.5 games behind GB (6 seed). WAS holds tiebreaker over GB.
A 2 seed-7 seed matchup Rd. 1 vs. GB would be an awful draw for the Eagles.

Ravens, Bengals, Chiefs (assume AFCW champs), and Eagles (assume NFCE champs) are on the home schedule.
