NLHydro and NFPower is such a fucking gong show. Jesus Christ.

In addition to everyone conserving electricity, I think disconnecting every NLHydro/NFPower executive would probably help. It might encourage them to have a modicum of foresight when planning, building, and maintaining the grid.

Looking forward to reading the MOU but at first glance the NL-PQ Labrador power deal looks good. Kudos to the GNL and NLHydro negotiating teams, especially for being focused on future benefits rather than on the sunk costs of the past.

@NLHydro is working to align with a #NetZero electricity sector by 2035 nlhydro.com/wp-content/u... And Quebec already has more than 99% of its electricity from renewable sources.

Soooo , IIRC the $6B for MF turned to ~$12B for something that has yet to work properly.
Now the good folks of NL have to pony up $2B as "backup" (read: workaround fix) ... Which will presumably become ~$4B.
Is @nlhydro still giving out bonuses to execs and consultants? 🤔
