Die Sonnenstrahlen reflektieren und in manchen Spiegeln erkennt man Äste der Bäume. Sie ist etwa 1,60 m hoch, mehrere Meter breit. Das beeindruckende Werk in der NMAC Foundation stammt von dem dänisch-isländischen Künstler Olafur Eliasson. Die im Jahr 2002 installierte Skulptur mit dem Titel „Quasi Brick Wall“ basiert auf einer komplexen, zwölfflächigen Geometrie, die Eliasson gemeinsam mit dem Mathematiker Einar Thorsteinn entwickelte. ​Diese sogenannten „Quasi-Ziegel“ aus Keramik sind so angeordnet, dass sie eine lückenlose, organisch wirkende Mauer bilden, deren Inneres mit Spiegelflächen ausgekleidet ist. Durch die präzise Platzierung im andalusischen Pinienhain erzeugt das Kunstwerk ein faszinierendes Wechselspiel aus Licht und Reflexion: Es bricht die Umgebung in unzählige Fragmente auf und lässt den Himmel sowie die Vegetation direkt in die Architektur einfließen. Typisch für Eliassons Schaffen steht auch hier die Interaktion zwischen Betrachter, Natur und Raum im Vordergrund, wobei die massive Struktur durch die spiegelnde Oberfläche ihre Schwere verliert und sich optisch in der Landschaft auflöst.
