Thank the goddess for this One NY legislator who is willing to say the truth about the situation w/ Mayor Adams.
Hochul can & should remove him but it's very possible that she too, is too entrenched in the NYDEM corruption racket to do it.

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.

Fear of a Jumaane Williams future is the strangest part of this list. The amount of right wing chaos and damage that NY DEMOCRATS are willing to countenance to avoid empowering someone who might possibly say that immigrants are good and deserve to be treated with decency and respect is so messed up.
This is a genuinely tough situation — do you break the glass on the mayoral removal power? Do you briefly let Williams become mayor? Do you start a short unpredictable special election? But I have confidence in these leaders’ ability to wring their hands and do nothing.
