Narrative violation:
The leftist housing orgs also just completely swamp the YIMBY movement in total donations. It’s gotta be at least 10:1. PolicyLink is bringing in literally 10x what California YIMBY brings in. The YIMBY movement is *very* grassroots and poorly funded compared to its detractors from the left.

No. Nope. We're not doing the libshit unity narrative this time.
Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.

this narrative being pushed by zionists is so stupid.

NBC letting Nikki Haley and Rahm Emanuel define the narrative for their election coverage (saying this is a victory for centrism and Democrats are deeply unpopular) is a choice.

Arsenal are refereed by narrative

Don’t allow Republicans and media to set the narrative with their framing and word choices. Push back every time. Congressional oversight and investigations are not about RETRIBUTION, they are about ACCOUNTABILITY. You were elected to hold them accountable, never forget it.

I said this on @nativelandpod.bsky.social but I'll repeat it here: A dangerous narrative is going to be "the GOP gerrymandering didn't work."

NO. It worked GREAT. We just OVERCAME it. But we'd have even MORE seats, and different candidates could have won those seats, without the gerryamndering.

this is going to be the dominant narrative

The White House now trying to push the narrative that “Trump was not on the ballot” is the funniest shit ever

In my @deepcutnews.bsky.social column I let fly with a bit of anger at the bullshit narrative that takes hold across the press gallery.

The RBA is waging class war, and the Press Gallery are its spin doctors
The narrative about excessive ‘government spending’ is bogus

Essential point here is that the emerging narrative downgrading a Dem win very much impacts what comes next
Good on Greg pushing back hard against the conventional wisdom in Dc already being set up to undercut any notion of a mandate for Dems to hold the Trump regime accountable for rein in corruption which has a direct impact on cost of living.
I also challenge this idea that if Dems win big, it'll be less a "blue wave" than just Republicans staying home. I note that D candidates are winning indys/driving voter enthusiasm (@gelliottmorris.com good on this too).

Charlie Cook engages on this at some length:

For those pushing that narrative “steady” meant “white” and “safe” meant “hwhiiiiiiiiiiIiiiIIIIIIIiiiite.”
I was just thinking about this. Stevens was seen as the steady safe hand despite instantly being the single weirdest human being anyone has ever seen and the closest analogue I have for her is Eric Adams
As an outsider, it seems like Hailey Stevens is giving some really strong, seriously dodged a bullet vibes lately.

The Narrative™️ cannot fail. It can only be failed.
Watching Fox, CNN and MSNOW "centrist" pundits teeing up their "Dems better stay centrist" "analysis" (not the right word, of course) is not good for my digestive tract.
November 4, 2026 at 12:24 AM
I’m listening to the narrative developed among the pundits tonight. “Kitchen table issues” “Dems need to stay focused” “Should Democrats pursue accountability?”

The word ICE has not been mentioned. Corruption was just mentioned on CNN at nearly 11pm. No one has said war in Iran. Or Epstein.

The narrative shifts keep piling up:
“Independent bids by candidates who sought Democratic votes failed in Montana and Nebraska. Indeed, the Democratic brand, once toxic in parts of the country, seemed popular again in ways not seen in generations.” — @washingtonmonthly.bsky.social washingtonmonthly.com/2026/11/03/a...
BLUENAMI: Democrats Will Control Congress
The midterm elections delivered a strong repudiation of Trump and GOP policies, and a triumph for Schumer and Jeffries.

....literally where was this narrative in 2024 when Trump won in a very close election?
There's a difference between a blowout and a mandate. Confusing the two could tempt Democrats to overread the results and forget the serious credibility problem they still face heading into 2028.
Democrats could learn wrong message from a blowout victory
A big Election Night could mask the party's larger image problem.

... So everyone is trying to read that into their own narrative., This is all based on about 31k votes in Guam. Guam.

Appreciate you for this. I’m so furious this narrative is already emerging.

Kremlin-aligned bot network Matryoshka on X is exploiting the 'Azov Torture Chamber' narrative.

First Matryoshka post appeared long after the narrative got viral, so very unlikely it was people behind Matryoshka who invented the narrative.

I need to emphasize again the fact that light bulbs did not exist the last time Mississippi elected a Black Senator.

This is such a monumental narrative violation that could destroy a political party
There is a chance Mississippi gets a Black senator for the first time since the invention of the light bulb, and America gets the second Native American woman Senator in two days after 250 years and four months without one

Already a narrative is emerging that holding this admin & its cronies accountable is revenge, that we have to "forgive and heal."

Friends: We can't let the narrative get twisted. Arresting & impeaching people who have committed actual crimes isn't revenge. It's law. It's consequences. It's justice.

But if Angie Nixon flips Florida, how will they sustain the narrative that DSA is an anti-Black organization that can’t get things done, unlike the DSCC? 👀😹🙏🏽
