Good on Greg pushing back hard against the conventional wisdom in Dc already being set up to undercut any notion of a mandate for Dems to hold the Trump regime accountable for rein in corruption which has a direct impact on cost of living.
I also challenge this idea that if Dems win big, it'll be less a "blue wave" than just Republicans staying home. I note that D candidates are winning indys/driving voter enthusiasm (@gelliottmorris.com good on this too).

There's a difference between a blowout and a mandate. Confusing the two could tempt Democrats to overread the results and forget the serious credibility problem they still face heading into 2028.

If they get rebuked then the narrative about 2024 being a triumph of right wing cultural ideology crumbles into dust. The country actually doesn't hate immigrants, trans people, wokeness, etc. Or at least hates right wing governance more. Devastating to their foundational propaganda
