On the #NationalDayOfReflection our staff represented London Ambulance Service at local events to mark five years since the start of the #COVID19 pandemic.

We remembered the people who lost their lives, all those affected, and the incredible efforts made to care for London during this time.

Five years on since #COVID19 was declared a pandemic.

Not much really changed for us in Response Policing.

If anything, we had some semblance of normality, but over the coming months London truly began to look like something out of a horror film.

Today, on this the 4th #NationalDayOfReflection, we pay tribute to the lives lost. Every life is precious.

Of course ... if we lived in a country that had the safety of its citizens as a priority ... we should have had the #nationaldayofreflection #lockdownanniversary three weeks ago!

I’m reflecting on how the fuck they got away with this shambolic clusterfuck of a pandemic response. A national day of outright fury would serve us far better #NationalDayofReflection

🇦🇺 What is a #NationalDayOfReflection? Is it any different from #NationalMourning as known in Europe?

They do fly the flags at half-mast.

They did have a minute of silence.

But have they cancelled any mass events, esp. parties? What about TV/radio lineups? No word @
