“Separate the art from the artist” feels like a weak justification to avoid seriously thinking about the context your favorite art exists in. Literary scholars also study the author’s life and time period because it informs the novels they wrote.

Neil’s work does not exist in a vacuum.

I don't fuck with anyone that is making excuses for rapists.

Look, I know how connected you feel to Neil Gaiman, but should in fact not be celebrated. Considering he harmed so many innocent women and then fucking wrote about his crimes.

So, has #NeilGaimen finally hit his Kevin Spacey moment?

#Sandman compendium TWO drops Aug.25th !!!
Rereading this CLASSIC!! If you’ve read this … you know, it’s really hard to compare it to anything. Like #AgathaChristie , #MickeySpillane #EdgarAllanPoe and #NeilGaimen were locked in a room together.

Waking up from blasting out all 6 eps of #Sandman S02 (last S was 11 eps!?!?)
And I’m just furious with #NeilGaimen
This show is a BEAUTIFUL representation of the comic.
It’s just frustrating and sad the creator is a rapist, so it rightfully needs to go.
Thanks for letting down millions of fans

Am I the only one who’s never read or seen media attached to #NeilGaimen?

Here is the difference between Modern and Classical authors and artists should be cancelled and held accountable. Keep in mind that the creators work should speak for itself. #authors #books #readers

Maybe it was Neverwhere by neilgaimen that was a few ,months back

I can't recommend that one more its so good

I'm so disappointed about the Neil Gaimen situation.
He was one of my favorite authors before this all came out.
Finding out someone you look up to is a horrible person is never a pleasant experience.
