I was just hiking in Irish peatlands, and I was shocked by how dry it was. Some parts of the bog looked like a desert.

Very large fire in Connemara today as well as one in Wild Nephin National Park yesterday 😪 the problem of fires is much diminished compared with previous years but clearly we still have a problem!
