also im coming to the realization that, at least for me, krita might work better as a photoshop alternative than affinity, gimp, & paint-net workflow-wise
like i tried to hue-shift something in GIMP, only to find ctrl-U is binded to... *fuzzy select!?*

No one ever figured out how it happened. One day someone went to copy/paste a word from a web page and hit ctrl-X instead of ctrl-C. The word was cut from the web page which made no sense. No one could explain it. With people being people, pretty soon everything on the entire net was gone. #scififri

It can't be said enough that the over-complicated method some image manipulation programs have for even basic tasks is ridiculous. Paint .net is basic but man it sure is fucking nice to just. Ctrl + SHift + V to make a new image from the clipboard. &Dont even get me started on fucking adding text

the moment of realisation when you realised you erased 200 words without cipying them into your document is always heartstopping.
fortunately wordcounter dot net has my back and i managed to ctrl-z back enough to salvage it
