The netherrealms storyline is basically just goofy world invasion stuff built on the bones of the old mortal kombat. They’ve reset the timeline in story twice so far it’s like a good bad soap opera at this point.

Half-way through Season 2 of X-Men, and there's a trend in 90's cartoon writing that pisses me off
Two characters have no reason *not* to talk to each other and figure out what the fuck is happening, but one of them will just start blasting mid-sentence

so many adages about animals like curiosity killing the cat, or killing two birds with one stone, or having chickens cross into the netherrealms. but what about human adages. the phrase "man door hand hook car door" doesn't get the usage it deserves. do better

IDK i have a feeling we won't really see Netherrealms any time soon. Mostly because WB is shooting themselves in the foot like Microsoft is

Capcom is trying to triangulate on what that secret sauce is that NetherRealms uses to net the casual audience.
I heard a lot of positive things about it from people who aren't all that into fighting games, so I'd say they're getting there.

If injustice 3 is real, I will be there day 1. NetherRealms gets a bad rep and I dont even play mortal kombat, but injustice is special to me.

Do you have much decided detail on the levels of the Netherrealms etc.? I've noticed a lot of writers hint at a polytheistic universe by saying "Oh Gods" or something, and I also use "Hells", so my characters might say "Go the the Hells" as you might in D&D because I want there to be several
